Attachment File Type Filter

The Attachment File Type Filter allows both SaaS and On-Prem clients to restrict the types of files that can be uploaded to attachment fields, configured on an application-by-application basis. Unlike traditional file type restrictions set globally through the Archer Control Panel (which applies to all applications), this solution offers greater flexibility, especially for SaaS clients who don’t have the ability to control file types at the application level.

With this solution, admins can specify which file types are allowed (whitelist) for each application, ensuring compliance with business-specific requirements.
