Automated Mail Merge Generation and Record Attachments

Feature summary:

The solution runs on a scheduled Data Feed (Javascript Transporter) and watches the records in a report that needs to be exported via a Mail Merge template. Once found, it will automate the mail merge generation process in the background and attach the generated files to the designated attachment field of the corresponding record.

The report that is being watched is when the records reach certain steps in your process. For example, when ““Status = Pending Final Report, the automation will run and create a mail merge report and attach it to the record; it will then set the Status to Closed, and notify your stakeholders with the mail merge report in the email.
